Hi everyone!

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Aqsa, and I’m running to be your Departmental Academic Representative.

This year, I’ve had the privilege of being your Year 1 Academic Rep, where I’ve worked closely with students and staff to raise concerns and push for real change. I’ve helped resolve issues around coursework, deadlines, and communication, making sure student feedback didn’t just get heard - but acted upon.

Now, I want to take that experience to the departmental level.

The Departmental Academic Rep plays a key role in representing all of you, ensuring your academic concerns - whether it’s assessment structure, workload, feedback quality, or scheduling - are clearly communicated and properly addressed.

I already understand how the system works, who to speak to, and how to follow things up to make sure progress actually happens. I’m confident, approachable, and genuinely care about making our academic experience the best it can be.

Imperial has been such an amazing journey so far, and I truly believe we can keep improving it together 💪
