Sruthi Aji
Hi, I’m Sruthi, and I’m running for the position of Community and Outreach Chair in the Paediatrics Society. I absolutely adore children, and it’s always been my passion to make them smile—even during the most difficult times. They’re often stronger than we realise, and that strength inspires me daily.
I’ve been tutoring children aged 3 to 18 for over eight years, which has deepened my understanding of how childhood experiences shape identity and long-term health. My fascination with paediatrics is driven by the unique ways children respond to treatment, and the compelling differences in care between child and adult patients.
As Community and Outreach Officer, I want to ensure smooth communication, keep things organised, and help create engaging opportunities for all members. I hope to achieve clear and efficient communication with timely updates, well-documented meetings, and an active online presence. I have organised many events and meetings within my job as a junior product manager for MyEdSpace and had various leadership roles in the past. I would like to sharpen my organisational skills and ensure that it all runs as smoothly as possible.
I hope to organise more interactive events, mentorship programs, and networking opportunities for all years to be able to participate and gain something from. Additionally, I hope to broaden our outreach through new partnerships and external collaborations—bringing the world of paediatrics closer to all of us.
Thank you for your support!
