Dear Investment Society Members,
I’m Dmitriy, a second year Chemistry student and I am running for Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations. I may be known to some of you through my participation in QT Capital pitches as an Analyst for the Consumer Staples Equity Team, during which I found great joy in networking with top sell-side institutions to gain insight on investments that would strengthen the fund.
My passion for this position stems from understanding the importance of equipping students with valuable networking opportunities that will serve them well throughout their professional journey. As a Top 50 Performer out of 11,000+, selected for an exclusive networking insight event into Investment Banking, as part of the Bright Network IEUK 2023, I know firsthand the benefits that come with establishing connections within the industry.
As a Spring Insight Week offer holder for Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank, a Summer Analyst for AmplifyMe, and a work shadowing student for Man Group, I believe I am in a great position to use my network to open up new possibilities for the society.
My campaign is centered on actionable and impactful initiatives:
- Organize events featuring Managing Directors and Vice Presidents, to facilitate deeper insights into the industry and create mentorship opportunities.
- Establish a Corporate Sponsorship Program (CSP). This program will seek to partner with firms interested in accessing a pool of talented individuals for recruitment.
- Offer personalized career advice for members actively seeking professional experience.
