Investment: Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations

Hi! I am Elyse, a second-year Biomedical Engineering student!

One remarkable aspect of Investment Society is our capacity to connect students with leading firms and network with professionals. From being a QT Capital analyst to an active member in our events, I am inspired to lead and contribute to the excellence of the society.

Having an incoming summer internship at an investment bank/brokerage firm, and well-established connections with successful bulge bracket applicants and industrial experts in both the UK and Hong Kong, I will leverage my network to guide members to enter and succeed in a sell-side career.

As Head of Sell-Side Corporate Relations, I aim to:

Introduce more Sell-Side Workshops
- Trading simulations led by professionals such as AmplifyMe — assist members in securing fast-tracked internship opportunities
- Recruitment events by a wider variety of firms like Bulge Bracket, Boutique Investment Banks, Brokerage Firm, Proprietary Trading firms, etc

Increase Networking Opportunities:
- Form relationships with leading sell-side firms for regular networking sessions and bring in external partnerships and sponsorships (eg Imperial Youth Professionals Network)
- Organise panel talks inviting speakers of higher-level professions(eg. EMEA Head of Investment Banking, Head of M&A)

Promote society’s image to sell-side recruiters as a community with skilled individuals and source of talent to be scouted from
