Hi everyone!

We are Daniel and Jin Tao, and are second year medics. We are running for Endocrinology Society co-presidents this year. We know that the intricate world of hormones, metabolic balance, and everything in between isn't just a course requirement – it's a captivating field!

As co-presidents, we have several ideas we would like to implement:

• Build tutorials that are comprehensive, useful, and engaging with motivated students as tutors, for all years.
• Engage with organisations like Diabetes UK, Society of Endocrinology, Verity PCOS society.
• Promote the conference, as well as create more events such as networking meets, and collaborating with other societies.
• Increase awareness of external research opportunities to our members.
• Create and maintain a monthly newsletter, as well as increase social media presence.

This year, as secretary for both General Practice Society and Nutritank Society, I have organised 2 newsletters simultaneously, interacting with the Presidents, Publicity Officers, & more, as well as helping organise 2 conferences. I am currently an Academic Representative for 2nd years, where I liaise with Faculty domain and module leads, organise meetings, analyse student feedback and present it to Faculty to improve the course.

Hence, I am able to listen to members and pragmatically refine our output, maximising the society's success. Furthermore, I am experienced with communicating and delegating tasks between various members of the group, and will manage time efficiently to keep committee happy and productive.
