Mustafaa Khan

Hello! I'm Mustafaa and I'm a medical student who is passionate to take the role of Pharmacology president. I aim to propel the society to new heights next year.

My experience:

• Last year I held 6 different committee roles giving me great ability to time manage and coordinate with teams. y roles include: Publicity offcer for Pharmacology Society, SORA National Conference lead, PO for ID soc, Nutritank events officer and MedEd webmaster
• As publicity officer of pharmacology I have promoted our events and gained experience of our societies activities
• Extensive experience running 5 different conferences and playing various roles within this
• I have liased between different imperial societies and across London to deliver events

My goals for next year

• Expanded Conference: One early next year targeted to both medical, BMB and other students but expanded to a London wide conference.
• Mentorship Scheme: Aimed at BSc and older year medical students
• Opportunities and networking: Create a page of available opportunities by contacting doctors and researchers to advertise for students interested in the field. Accompany this by running a speed networking event.
• Expanding Education Series: Building on the year 2 series by creating pharmacology resources aimed at older years.
• Restructuring Committee: Updating the roles on the committee for the society to thrive and grow long term. For future years, I want to create specific leads for our conference and a research officer. I also want to create a BSc and BMB representative role.
