Hey Everyone,

My name is Adithya and I’m a first year JMC and I’m running for the Sponsor Liaison and Industrial Events Coordinator role.
Here are some of my relevant experiences:

- I ran the student AI and ML society in high school, where I taught ML and AI for over 4 years, and liaised with local companies to help students gain an insight on the practical applications of ML and AI in the industry
- I have interned at 3 different firms (A single family office, a fintech startup and a generative AI startup) and have a good insight on how technology firms operate via participation in various vetting processes and development processes
- I assisted in founding an AI startup and liaised with various universities, providing me with deep insight on the relationships between companies and universities and what companies seek from universities

If I am elected as the Sponsor Liaison and Industrial Events Coordinator, I will:

- Ensure existing relationships with sponsors thrive
- Push for events that assist students in first years and second years and hope to increase work opportunities for first year and second year students
- And finally, ensure to increase communication with students to maximise what they would like to gain from such events and optimise them to suit our students’ needs

I hope to push for improvements and to ensure that your voice is heard and taken into account next year and I hope we can work together to make a positive impact with your vote!
