Bradley Asumang

African Caribbean: Vice President

My name is Bradley Asumang, a second-year mathematics student, vying for Vice President (Sponsorship) in our esteemed society.

Throughout my academic journey, I have traversed numerous application processes and gained invaluable experience through internships. I have completed spring weeks at prestigious institutions such as JP Morgan, BP, Jane Street, and Maven Securities. Notably, I successfully converted both JP Morgan and Maven Securities placements into summer internships, a feat I am eager to guide others through.

My goals for ACS include:

  • Implementing internship preparation sessions
  • Creating a career resource folder covering healthcare, engineering, technology, and finance
  • Organising more healthcare and engineering tailored career events
  • Leveraging my extensive network to secure more sponsors
  • Ensuring an inclusive and entertaining environment

Recognising the importance of early career preparation, I pledge to inform and equip first-year students well ahead of the November application season, offering tailored support in finance, technology, engineering, and healthcare. In line with my commitment to fostering professional development, I've curated a comprehensive resource drive for refining CVs, honing interview skills, and accessing career guidance. Additionally, I'll leverage my network to benefit our members, facilitating connections and opportunities. To simplify accessing career assistance organisations, I've included a user-friendly questionnaire in the resource drive to match individuals with relevant organisations.

Let's embark on a journey of empowerment. As your Vice President (Sponsorship), I'm committed to equipping every member with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities for success. Thank you for considering me. I eagerly await the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,

Bradley Asumang
