Hi, my name is Olivia and I am a second-year biochemist running for Biochemistry Publicity and Marketing Officer.

Why vote me?

I am already a young carer ambassador and through my role I am required to plan and advertise events for young carers across secondary schools meaning I already have the skill set making me a suitable choice for this role.

I am a very collaborative individual and have worked in teams for years for example 6 years in hospitability so welcome not only working as a duo within this role but with the rest of the biochemistry society.

I am very creative and confident in networking and meeting with industry professionals to help make the biochemistry society not only a close community but a resource for your carer queries.

My Goals as Publicity and Marketing Officer

• advertise more events and work with the events officers and your feedback to make the best possible events
• I enjoy drawing and design so hopefully with me as publicity and marketing officer you can look forward to a fun and creative Instagram page for the Biochemistry Society
• I hope to encourage more communications across the year groups to enhance the biochemistry community
