Hello everyone, I'm Anoushka. We are at the time of the year when the whole student body gears up for upcoming exams and this is a crucial aspect for MedEd which takes the perspective of improving student success, satisfaction, progress and potential. As medical students, we are all familiar with the outstanding contribution of MedEd to their objective of making education as accessible and enjoyable as possible. It is for this reason I stand for the position of MedEd Treasurer.

I would like to further the interests of the society by opening the door to suggestions and making more events accessible given the many financial restrictions encountered by students today. In addition to this, I would like to make event series that are interactive, collaborative reassuring and bring together like-minded individuals dedicated to the advancement, assessment and consolidation of learning in medicine.

As a tutor for eight years I have an understanding of the method of teaching and can introduction training sessions for the various tutors to reassure you with an outstanding level of attention and dedication to the topics in question. I also would like to help introduce more events that would aid students in being more involved in research, enabling us as a society to promote evidence-based practice from our level as students. It is with your votes submissions, suggestions and participation, these plans can come into fruition!
