Hi there! My name is Angeline and I'm running for the position of President in ICSS.
"Family" - while we leave our loved ones behind in Singapore, we gain another here in London. With ICSS, I got to create a family of my own that I can rely on to celebrate the highs and push through the lows.
Hence, together with the rest of the committee, I hope to achieve the same and even more for you:
1. Building Homes - By organizing various events, we can celebrate our milestones and create opportunities to get together and have fun. With prior experience in planning and leading events in my CCA and volunteering, I aim to build strong bonds where we can rely on each other during tough times.
2. Expanding Community - Many of us find it difficult to make friends outside of our Singaporean circle in Imperial. But we are all here in London! Why not make friends outside of our comfort circle while we are in a different country? Working together with other societies within and outside of Imperial such as various sports clubs, Msoc, and Abacus, I aim to bring opportunities for us to make memorable friends along the way here!
3. Broadening Opportunities - With my experience working with external stakeholders in Youth Corps, I aim to bring in more connections to Singapore Society for us to not only be exposed to more internship opportunities but also potentially gain more insights into the various industries along the way!
