Yirui Xu

I’m Yirui Xu, a first-year student studying civil engineering. I want to run for the position of Clubs and Societies Officer. I believe that participating in school club activities is not only a way for us to study but also a valuable opportunity for us to shape our character, build social relationships, and expand our skills. As the Clubs and Societies Officer, I hope to create a more colorful club experience for the entire student community, so that every student can find their interests and sense of belonging.

First, I want to emphasize inclusion and diversity. Everyone has their own hobbies and specialties, and our club activities should be able to satisfy students from different backgrounds and interests.

Secondly, I will focus on the quality and sustainable development of community activities. As Clubs and Societies Officer, I will actively cooperate with various clubs to provide necessary support and resources, help them organize activities, and regularly evaluate and improve the club activities quantity.

Finally, I will listen to and represent the voices of every student. As Clubs and Societies Officer, I will establish an open communication channel, encourage students to make suggestions and opinions, and ensure that their voices are heard and responded to.

All in all, as Clubs and Societies Officer, I will be committed to creating an inclusive, diverse, quality, and sustainable community environment. I believe that through our joint efforts, our club activities will be more colorful and bring more fun and meaning to the entire student community.
