A university full of maths lovers, a Tube ride from London’s trading floors. It’s time we made that count. Here’s what I’ll push for:
Sponsors and firms
- Build on our IMC partnership and reach out to other top trading firms
- Bring firms in for talks on probability and decision-making, plus networking events for members
- Approach poker study tools like GTO Wizard for member discounts and free access
Tournaments
- Sponsor-funded freeroll (free-entry) tournaments with prizes: some open to everyone, some for top performers in our weekly games
- A leaderboard from our Thursday games, used to fairly select who represents Imperial in the IPA and other inter-uni competitions
- Tournaments with professional dealers at a partner venue (subject to Union approval)
Inter-uni events
- Joint socials, pub crawls and game nights with LSE, UCL, King’s and more
- More Imperial players entering UK university tournaments
