Justin Nakamura
Hi, I'm Justin Nakamura, a second-year Mechanical Engineering student with a strong interest in using engineering to tackle real-world social and environmental challenges.
Through my engineering projects and industry experience, I've come to appreciate the importance of collaboration and learning from people with different backgrounds.
If elected, I would focus on:
-
Guest talks: Organise engaging talks with engineers, researchers and industry professionals working on sustainability, humanitarian engineering and global development.
-
Society collaborations: Work with other Imperial societies to organise joint events, bringing together students from different disciplines and interests.
-
Student engagement: Make events accessible, interactive and relevant, encouraging more students to get involved with Engineers Without Borders.
Ultimately, I want to help make Engineers Without Borders a place where students can exchange ideas, build connections and explore how engineering can make a positive difference.
