Laurence Hartnell

Hi, I'm Laurence a third year medical student and I am running to be the new events lead for remote medicine!

As Events Lead, I would love to help continue making Imperial Remote Medicine Society an accessible and inspiring society which allows students to explore and be aware of the possibility of practicing medicine beyond the traditional clinical environment. This could be accomplished firstly through talks from clinicians along with interactive workshops and scenario-based sessions that allow members to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. collaborations with larger societies is also something I'd like to do in order to get as many people as possible to these events.

Ultimately, I would bring lots of enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering great events that try to go beyond traditional lectures. My goal is for members to leave each event having learnt something new which may develop their clinical perspective and encourage them to come back again.
