Formula 1: Design & Marketing Officer

Hi everyone, I’m Waleed Safareeni, and I’m running to be your F1 Society Design and Marketing Officer.

As Design and Marketing Officer, I want to help make the society more visible, engaging, and exciting for all members. Formula 1 is all about precision, creativity, and presentation, and I believe I can bring those qualities to this role.

I will work to make sure that everything the society puts out, from event posters to social media content, looks sharp, feels consistent, and gets people excited to turn up. I’ll focus on creative, clear branding and on reaching as many students as possible, whether you’re a lifelong F1 fan or have never watched a race.

My goals are to:

Create eye-catching, consistent designs for events, watch parties, and socials.
Grow the society’s reach and following across social media and campus.
Promote events early and clearly so more members know what’s on and can get involved.
Build a recognisable society identity that makes everyone feel proud to be part of it.
