Badminton (ICSM): Mixed Captain

Hi everyone! I’m John :) I’m running for Mixed Captain because I want to help every player develop, feel valued and achieve their best, while making us as competitive as possible.

Last year, I played for UCL Men’s 2s in Tier 1 fixtures and represented RUMS in Premier-level LUSL mixed matches. I’d like to bring this experience to ICSM Mixed, helping us learn from every match, improve together and achieve strong results this season.

My priorities are:

Improve together. I’ll encourage players to learn from matches, develop their skills and support each other, regardless of their starting level.
Make everyone feel welcome. I want every player to feel included, supported and motivated, with opportunities to contribute and grow as part of the team.
Compete to win. I want us to build on our strengths, improve match preparation and tactics, and give everyone the best chance to perform at their highest level.

Ultimately, I want to help you get the most out of your badminton, feel valued as part of the ICSM Badminton Club and achieve more together on court. I’d love to hear your ideas and help make this a great season for all of us.
