Abigail Peacock

Hi! I'm Abigail (MSc Design with Behaviour Science) and I am running to be your PGT Department Representative for Design Engineering.

After acting as the Programme Representative for my cohort throughout all four years of my undergraduate degree, I feel confident in my ability to represent your voice well where it matters. I attended countless Student-Staff Meetings and wider University Council meetings during my tenure, and I have extensive experience in gathering feedback, synthesising the key concerns, and communicating these to the relevant commitees or faculty. Most importantly, I know how to advocate for your voice and do what I can ensure you see the change you want to see.

As your Departmet Rep, I aim to be available to you and your feedback at any point. I want PGT students to feel they are integrated into the Department, DesSoc, and the wider university. Postgraduate students have different wants and needs of their university than undergraduate students; working with the individual Department Reps, I would be the bridge between our cohort and the best university experience Imperial has to offer us.

I've loved getting to know you all so far, and it would be such a privilege to be your PGT Department Representative during our time together this year.
