Business School (UG): Year One Wellbeing Representative

Invest in Yourself. Your Greatest Asset is You.

As a Wellbeing Representative, I wish to create a community where no student feels they have to struggle alone, where reaching out is met with understanding, and where every individual feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

Why Me?

Having moved from India to the UK two years ago for A-levels, I understand how challenging it can be to adjust to a new environment but I’ve also learned how it can be an opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, embrace new experiences, and grow as a person!

At middle school, I was part of a team of six mentors supporting students across the school community of 1,400 students. This alongside my experience as a house captain in sixth form taught me the importance of empathy and mental health.

Priorities

  • Balance, Not Burnout – Promote healthy study habits, stress management and taking breaks, especially during exams.
  • A Community That Cares – Foster inclusion, peer support and a sense of belonging.
  • Your Voice, Your Wellbeing – Listen to students' concerns and ensure they are heard

The UN’s SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being reminds us that success should never come at the expense of our health. While Imperial’s prestige and academic rigour at QS2 pushes us to achieve our best, I believe our wellbeing is just as important as our academic success and so my goal is to make sure we can work hard, look after ourselves, and enjoy university life together!
