Your postgraduate experience shouldn't wait until graduation.
Hi everyone! My name is Adrita, and I'm running for PGT Representation Chair to make sure postgraduate voices lead to real change.
I know what genuine representation looks like and how to deliver it. During my undergraduate degree I was elected Course Representative and also served as a welfare rep, events manager and ambassador across several societies and organisations. This experience, together with my training as a mentor, taught me to communicate effectively between students and department heads, and led to me becoming my Master's course representative.
In those roles, I:
• Organised industry and academic networking events alongside careers fairs
• Secured extensions on multiple assignments when deadlines were stacking up and students were overwhelmed
Now I want to represent all postgraduate students, not just my own course
Tell me what needs to change, and I'll make sure it's heard at the right level
MY PRIORITIES:
• Advocate for more affordable food options and accommodation
• Give students access to live-streamed lectures from home
• Push for Q&A sessions with recent graduates from your programme, so you get first-hand advice about your course
• Run events that help new postgraduates join existing student networks and communities
• Publish monthly progress updates, working with Faculty Academic & Welfare Officers, course reps, Imperial and ICU

YOUR VOICE WILL HAVE ACTION
