Electrical & Electronic Engineering (PG): MSc Applied Machine Learning
Hi everyone! My name is Luca, and I am running to be our Applied Machine Learning Course Representative. AML is an incredibly intense program. To navigate the heavy workload and fast-paced curriculum successfully, we need a strong, well-supported community. Because we are a relatively small, tight-knit cohort, we have a unique opportunity to build a genuinely close network. I want to leverage that collective strength to ensure nobody feels left behind.
If elected, my top three priorities will be:
  • Bi-Weekly Feedback Collection: Rather than relying on end-of-term surveys when it is too late, I will establish a continuous bi-weekly feedback system. I will gather your real-time insights on assignment pacing and take them directly to professors to fix issues immediately.
  • Improved Support Awareness: The university offers great academic, mental health, and career services, but they are often difficult to navigate in Imperial's decentralised ecosystem. I will create a clear, centralized signposting system so everyone knows exactly where to get help when deadlines pile up.
  • Promoting AML Unity: We learn best when we collaborate. I will organize regular, casual social events, such as bar crawls and bowling nights, so our entire cohort can unwind, connect, and build a lasting professional and social network.
Let's support one another and make this year a collaborative success. Remember, we're all in this together.
