Bioengineering (UG): Year Three Academic Representative (Molecular Bioengineering)

Hi everyone, I’m Harvey, and I’m running to be your Year 3 Academic Representative.

Despite the heavy workload, especially in 2nd year, I've made the Dean's list in both 1st and 2nd year. Throughout the past 2 years, the challenges on dealing with workload has broadened my perspective on adacemic factors that makes coursework and learning content harder.

As we embark on the journey in third year, things get more serioes. More modules, more intense group project, heavier workloads etc. It's important we take the most efficient method to learning and undertsanding content, as well as delivering high quality coursework. Its also impetetive for us to collaboratively make this year an easier year for learning.

As your Academic Representative, I will make sure your voices are heard. I will:

Gather feedback regularly through short, anonymous surveys, and raise it constructively with staff.
Raise any feedback directly from DM to staff ASAP
Provide a report for changes made by staff upon the student feedback
Attempt to, with the time I have, create better resources and tips for studying more efficiently and producing high quality coursework, based on what's worked for me and my peers.

With the collective knowledge on factors that makes learning easier, we can all complete third year with better ease.
