Nayla Jasmine
Hi everyone! I'm Nana, and I believe there's more to the Imperial experience than just contributing to the university's QS2 ranking. We're here to learn, grow, make friends, and enjoy the journey!
My mission? Less figuring things out alone, more figuring things out together.
1. Academics without the guesswork
A master's is challenging enough without decoding marking criteria or juggling three deadlines on the same day.
- Push for clearer assessment expectations and raise deadline clashes with Faculty staff.
- Work with departmental reps to ensure student feedback is heard and acted on.
2. People before performance
Behind every grade and CV is a person juggling ambitions, responsibilities, and life outside the classroom.
- Make academic, financial, and wellbeing support easier to navigate.
- Create opportunities to connect across programmes through casual socials, peer-support networks, and collaborative events.
3. “I've raised it” → “Here's what happened”
Representation shouldn't feel like sending a message into a void.
- Connect departmental reps to identify shared concerns and push for solutions.
- Keep students updated on progress, even when change takes time.
- Stay approachable beyond election season. Questions, concerns, or just a chat? I'm always down!!
Why me?
With my experiences as an international student ambassador, course rep, society secretary, and organiser of community and charity projects supporting SDGs 1–4, I've learned that making a difference starts with listening, but doesn't end there.
I can't promise miracles, but I can promise to show up, speak up, and follow through.
QS2 outside, #1 for student voices inside ;D
Vote Nana!!
