Katherine Baker

Hi everyone! I’m Katherine, a second-year Biology student, and I’d love to be your Year 2 Wellbeing Representative.

University can get pretty hectic between deadlines, exams and everything else going on, so I think it’s important that we look out for each other and have someone we can turn to.

If elected, I’ll stay active in our group chat and regularly check in to see how everyone’s doing and whether there’s anything we think could be improved. Whether it’s too much workload, deadlines clashing or needing more time for assignments, I want to make sure our concerns are heard.

I’m also more than happy to speak directly with professors and relevant staff on behalf of our cohort. I won’t be afraid to raise concerns when something isn’t working for us, and I’ll do my best to make sure we’re treated fairly and get the support we deserve.

I’m approachable, happy to listen, and always willing to help where I can. I’d really appreciate your vote and the chance to make a difference to our year group! :)
