Max Massoudy
Bioengineering (PG): MSc Biomedical Engineering (Biomechanics)
Hi, I’m Max, your candidate for Year Representative in the M.Sc. Biomedical Engineering (Biomechanics). I grew up in Bonn, Germany, did my Bachelor's at RWTH Aachen, and already spent an Erasmus year here at Imperial during that time. Last year, I did an internship at QUT in Brisbane, Australia. In my free time, I love playing sports, especially kitesurfing and football, even though I’m not particularly good at either! Furthermore, I plan to join the Debating Society this year and am generally very interested in politics.
Here are a few bullet points on why I believe I can represent you quite well:
- Home advantage: I’ve already spent a year at Imperial College, so I know my way around here really well.
- International Experience: Having studied and worked in Germany, France, Australia, Scotland, and England, I know how important good integration into a new environment is. Maybe I can share a few useful tips and tricks!
- Mediator: I once completed training as a mediator/mentor. Hopefully I won't actually have to put that to use though!
- Extroverted: I am not afraid to speak up for you. Thanks to my passion for political debates, I also bring the necessary experience for this.
- Efficient: As a German it is in my nature to be very efficient. I will always do my best to help you as quickly as possible.
I would be thrilled to help you this year and have your back wherever possible. I look forward to getting to know you all.
