Ramsden Zhang

Hi everyone, I’m Ramsden, a Year 2 Bioengineering student, and I am running for Event Officer.

I have a strong background in event planning and design, having served as the Vice Director of my high school graduation ceremony. In that role, I managed 8 sub-teams and introduced creative new elements (like a T-shaped runway stage) which boosted engagement by over 17%.

Through my current role as an Academic Student Rep, I am also highly familiar with the department's administrative processes. I can efficiently book venues, liaise with staff, communicate with our cohort, and consolidate ideas across the committee.

If elected, I will work closely with the rest of the committee to deliver a strong balance of professional STEM-related panels and engaging social events that everyone can enjoy.

I would be honoured to have your vote and look forward to creating amazing events for you all in the year ahead!
