Rohan Sharma

Hi everyone! My name is Rohan Sharma, and I am running to be your academic representative. I care deeply about having a well-organised and stress-free academic experience, without avoidable confusion due to a lack of clear departmental communication or resources.

If elected, I aim to make sure all student concerns about scheduling, feedback quality, coursework instructions and access to resources are promptly communicated to the department to ensure a smoother academic journey. It is very important that your perspectives are represented, and I plan on collecting them through surveys and discussions. You can also reach out to me through email or WhatsApp, as I’m (a bit too) online.

I also plan on building upon the resource repository provided by the biochem society, especially information about lab report writing, as many students were confused by the marking criteria. I will also incorporate career-related guidance, like information about the internship application process.

My prior leadership experience includes being a team leader of a group from my school which participated in a virtual exchange research project through the EUMIND network of schools, for which we received a certificate of excellence for Best Article.

Vote for me, because I want to hear your voice (and Kurt’s on Panopto)

Thank you and have a great day!
