Moritz Bass

Hi, I’m Moritz. I come from a consulting background and, like a lot of you, I’m switching into tech from another field.

As rep, I’d mainly want to help us get closer to industry. Most of us are here because we want a technical job afterwards, and the course alone won’t get us there. I’d like to bring in people who work as engineers or PMs to talk openly about their jobs. I’d also like to set up some CV and interview practice in small groups, and keep a shared list of internship and grad deadlines so nobody misses one while buried in coursework.

I’d also be your link to the professors. If something isn’t working, whether that’s the pace of a module or two deadlines landing in the same week, tell me and I’ll raise it with the teaching staff and let you know what comes of it.

And I’ll organise socials. A year this intense is a lot easier with people you actually know, so expect pub quizzes, drinks after big deadlines, and whatever else people are up for.

I’m really excited to get to know you all this year, and I’d love the chance to help make it a good one.
