Hi, I’m Mona, and I’d love to be your Academic Rep!

I’ve absolutely loved getting to know people from the course better during the first year, in lectures, societies, projects, or studying. About me: I’m from France, and I’ve lived in seven countries before, so I’m used to adapting to new situations and collaborating with different people. I love running- I’m social sec for ICXCAC this year, and I’ve really enjoyed making people feel comfortable in a sport I’m so passionate about(highly recommend joining!)

I’m also passionate about renewable energy and have pushed for experience in solar, green hydrogen, and a UROP on the Pilot Plant. You can expect the same proactiveness from me as a Rep!

I think Imperial is the perfect place to explore beyond lectures. We all want to apply our degree differently, and I’d love to help us explore opportunities across different fields. In my first year, I found that supercurricular opportunities through Imperial and IChemE could be hard to find, so I’d like to help make them more visible and accessible to everyone.

I care about attention to detail, even when we’re so many- learning approaches vary, and each perspective matters. I'd aim to make academic feedback easier + regular.

I would love to work behind the scenes and put my absolute best into representing our academic needs and improving our experience. I’m always happy to chat, hear ideas, and I’d be excited to get to know more of you better by taking this on!
