Hello! I understand the importance of collecting feedback from students, not only to improve our learning experience but also achieve great results as a cohort. From the interactions I’ve had within our cohort, I’ve realised that often students find it difficult to and are unclear on how to voice their concerns and opinion. As your rep, my primary goal will be to understand your ideas and concerns, be your voice and find reasonable solutions whilst working closely with the ChemEng society. As Assistant Head Girl at my school, I have previous experience of closely liaisoning with my peers, the prefect team and sixth form management to ensure any concerns were addressed and I hope to do the same as your academic rep!

As your rep, I plan to send out weekly feedback forms (anonymous - optional), so everyone has the chance to share concerns about any part of the course, whether it’s the course materials, lectures or group projects. I also plan to work with the wellbeing representative to ensure we organize snack sessions or check-ins (for anyone interested), during exam periods when work gets stressful. Hopefully, I will also try to bring back ChemEng Wiki as this was a very helpful study tool - and lookout for any additional academic resources available.
