As fifth-year medical students, we’re entering a crucial and demanding stage of our medical journey. I want to stand as your Academic Representative to ensure our voices are heard, our concerns are taken seriously, and our penultimate year is as supportive, fair, and rewarding as possible.

My priorities are simple:

• Your voice, our priority: Represent your views honestly and ensure feedback leads to meaningful change.
• Better communication: Advocate for clear and consistent expectations around teaching, placements, exams, and assessments.
• Support for everyone: Promote a learning environment that recognises the pressures of fifth year and gives everyone the opportunity to succeed.
• Turning feedback into action: Be approachable, proactive, and committed to raising concerns and following them through.

I’m standing not just to hold a position, but to be someone you can rely on to listen, speak up, and make a difference.
