Rasshmika Nantha Kumar

I’m Rasshmika Nantha Kumar, and I am a Year 1 Geophysics student running to be your Year 1 ESE Academic Representative!

Prior to this, I have held positions similar to this one. I was a member of my college’s Student-Staff Consultative Committee, so I do have experience in handling affairs related to both students’ academic and overall welfare.

I aim to understand the problems faced by my peers and devise new solutions to the matters raised. Some problems I would like to tackle include: class schedules, teaching methods, practical lessons and assignments. I do know the significance of student input and with this role, I seek to represent you and voice out your concerns. Moreover, under my tenure, I will ensure that each and every one of your queries get answered, through close collaboration with the students and teaching staff. Let me be your shoulder, let me share your worries. I will do my best to make sure you feel seen and heard throughout our first year!
