Harry Shan
Are you struggling to keep up with the notorious Imperial workload? I’ve got you covered. Hi, my name is Harry Shan and I’m running to be your Y1 Computing Representative this year. I believe in a collaborative cohort, where no question goes unanswered, and every member supports one another in our academic journey. As freshers, having or not having a supportive study environment will make or break your next 3-4 years, so feedback from the student body is essential.
As your representative, I would suggest the following:
- Do you like Nick Wu’s questions sheets? We are striving to have every lecturer answer questions regarding course material with a similar drop box system.
- Struggling on work? We are committed to give sufficient support to you, making sure the process is engaging yet not impossible.
- Find it difficult to reach out to faculty? We are aiming to make feedback and communications seamless between students and faculty.
- Feel like you’re not being heard? Future decisions will be made together to improve everyone’s learning experience
As a senior prefect and committee member of my previous sixth form college, I believe my skillset suits this role perfectly. It is an honour to have the opportunity to represent the cohort for this year and change the system for the better with your help.
Vote for me now, and together, we will knock down MIT’s crown, making Imperial QS1!
