(git) Commit to better - Vote Andrei.
Hi, I’m Andrei, and if I had a pound for every “final reminder” to complete a ten-minute survey that would “definitely make a real difference”, I could finally afford enough RAM to run Google Chrome.
I’m running for Year One Academic Representative because I strongly believe that feedback should do more than disappear into a form.
Here are some policies I’m campaigning for:
- git pull (Gather your feedback)
I’ll make it easy to raise concerns through anonymous feedback forms and in-person chats. Before meetings, I’ll proactively gather your views, ensuring even the quietest voices successfully merge into our main branch ;) - git push (Raise your concerns)
I’ll advocate for clearer coursework instructions, marking criteria and feedback that helps us improve. When deadlines pile up or the same questions keep coming up regarding our coursework or module structure, I’ll raise these issues with staff and ask for practical changes promptly. - git status (Keep you updated)
After every important staff meeting, I’ll share a clear summary of what was addressed and what happens next, ensuring you never have to guess the status of your requests.
I can’t promise your academic journey will be without obstacles, but I can promise to always raise your concerns and keep you updated, because:
Your feedback shouldn’t enter an infinite loop !!!
