Aeronautics (UG): Year Two Academic Representative

Hi, I am Jiashu – pronounce it however you decide.

I've been with you at the gliding and motorsport clubs, and now I do want to help a bit more.

Together, let's get rid of troublesome software glitches and licensing issues that do even more harm to your mental health ahead of the surges of deadlines near the end of every term. We shall also look forward to making the grouping and peer assessment logic fairer and more transparent than it is now. No one should get an unfair loss or cheeky boost in their coursework grades because of how their groupmates have done. Finally, and most importantly, we will make everyone benefit from these changes, so no one struggles more academically for where they are from, and what stories their English accents have got to tell.

I have been heavily involved in the formation of the new Experimental Aero society since its very start. Back at school I have also organised Model United Nations conferences with 200+ participants from around the city. So do rest assured, unless you do find something going on annoying – then drop me an email, and I will get back.

Vote Jiashu – for less drama and more time spent on what truly matters for an engineer (call it torture if you want) – instead of lab group civil wars and desperate calls to ASK Imperial. See you around!
