Ming Guo Foo

Hi all, I am Ming Guo! (or some of you may know me as MG)

I love going outdoors, and my favourite outdoor activity is probably hiking, as I like to stay grounded. (literally -.-). I also happen to be a grounded person (maybe not such a coincidence, haha), and I will fulfill all my responsibilities as Hike Leader if elected.

In the past year, I've enjoyed going on a bunch of Fellwanderers trips to the Peak District, the Surrey Three Peaks, and many others. I think I've gotten a pretty good understanding of how the club operates and familiarity with the common areas we return to every year. I also hiked (& orienteered) a lot in the Boy Scouts and Army while I was doing reconnaissance training, and I am first aid trained (have a card to prove this!) Thus, I am confident in being able to be a good hike leader.

I also understand the roles come with more than organising and leading hikes, and I would be glad to help out the rest of EXCO with whatever they may need assistance in, including delivering the long-awaited Fellwanderers MERCH!!
