Hello everyone,

I’m running for the position of Vice Chairperson of IC Badminton Society because I want to take a more active role in supporting a society that I have really enjoyed being part of. Having helped run the social badminton sessions this year, I have developed a strong understanding of how the club operates and what is needed behind the scenes to keep sessions organised, enjoyable, and accessible for members.

I am someone who can be counted on to follow through on responsibilities and help make sure things run smoothly. These are qualities that are especially important in a role that involves supporting the Chairperson, working closely with the rest of the committee, and helping the society function effectively throughout the year.

If elected as Vice Chairperson, I would aim to work closely with the Chairperson and the wider committee to help with coordination, decision-making, and the smooth running of both badminton and social events. I would also want to help maintain a positive and inclusive environment where all members feel welcome, whether they are experienced players or just joining for fun.

Overall, I am applying for Vice Chairperson because I care about the society and want to contribute more to its continued success. I believe my experience, organisation, and reliability would allow me to support the committee effectively and help ensure that IC Badminton Society remains a well-run and enjoyable society for everyone.
