Sayanen Sawmynaden

Hi, I’m Sayanen, a second-year medical student, and I am applying for the role of Vascular and Transplant Vice President.

Over the past year, I have been an active member of the Surgical Society subcommittee, where I have helped organise a range of successful events, including the Trauma Conference, Specialties Spotlight, and the Junior Anatomy Series. Through these experiences, I have developed strong organisational, teamwork, and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of what is required to run engaging and well-attended events at Imperial.

In addition, my experience as Head Boy at school helped me develop the leadership, initiative, and responsibility needed to represent and support a student community effectively. I am confident that these skills, combined with my enthusiasm for surgery and commitment to the society, would allow me to make a valuable contribution as Vascular and Transplant Vice President.

I would be excited to help organise educational and career-focused events, promote greater student engagement, and support the continued growth of the society.
