Neurotechnology is one of the most exciting and rapidly developing fields, yet many students rarely get the chance to hear directly from the people driving innovation. As Podcast Manager, I want to make the Neurotech Society podcast a platform that informs, inspires, and connects students with the wider neurotechnology community.
If elected, I will:
• Invite researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and students working in neurotechnology to share their experiences and insights.
• Produce engaging episodes covering topics such as brain-computer interfaces, neuroprosthetics, AI in neuroscience, neuroethics, and emerging healthcare technologies.
• Introduce student-focused episodes discussing internships, research opportunities, academic pathways, and career journeys.
• Expand the podcast’s visibility through collaborations with other societies and effective promotion across social media platforms.
• Ensure episodes are accessible and engaging for both beginners and students already interested in neuroscience and engineering.
Through tutoring, volunteering, and public engagement activities, I have developed strong communication skills and a genuine interest in making complex scientific topics understandable and engaging. My enthusiasm for healthcare technology and willingness to connect with people from different backgrounds would help me create meaningful and high-quality content for our members.
Vote for me to help build a podcast that showcases innovation, amplifies student voices, and brings the neurotechnology community closer together.
