Prototyping and Hacking Society: Vice President

This year, as Head of Industry and Outreach, I had a really fulfilling time with ProtoSoc. I led the ProtoSoc x Entia collaboration, with five groups of five students mentored by the CEO of medtech company Entia, working across hardware and software projects. I also co-organised the careers fair at the start of the year alongside the Materials Society.

I'm running for VP because I want to build on what we've started. I want to keep the momentum we have around workshops, hackathons, and long-term projects, and expand it with more industry partners and new technical topics. Beyond that, we could explore new event formats, more fun socials, and a stronger social media presence.

Finally, working closely with current VP Emily throughout the year has given me a clear picture of what the role involves and how the society runs behind the scenes. I'd love to work with the new committee to make next year an even better one for ProtoSoc!
