I would love to join the Muslim Medics committee as it would be an incredibly fulfilling opportunity to contribute to a society that benefits Muslim and non-Muslim medics alike. I believe studying Medicine and helping others are ideal examples of incorporating Ibadah into our daily lives.

I am particularly passionate about supporting aspiring medical students. As the first person in my family to study Medicine whilst coming from a state-school, I understand the challenges and uncertainties of the process, and hope to encourage students that their goals are realistic and attainable through hard work, perseverance, and trust in Allah (SWT).

My extensive experience in teaching includes 1 year as a self-employed medical admissions mentor, 3 years as a teaching assistant in Islamic Education, and presenting UCAT workshops at a sixth form college. I have supported students with UCAT/A-level tutoring, mock MMIs, personal statements reviews, and general application guidance. Alhamdulillah, my students have received multiple medical school offers (testimonials available upon request).

I volunteered at the PotMed Conference 2025, giving me first-hand insight into the programme.

Through initiating and hosting self-organised fundraising events, I have developed strong event-planning skills, cultivating creativity and managing logistics.

If successful, I would strive for Ihsaan within the comittee to inspire and enable the next generation of future medics and to create a supportive environment where students receive personalised guidance.
