Chemical Engineering: Tour Officer

I’d love the opportunity to be your ChemEng Soc Tours Officer next year. I’m organised, responsible, and enthusiastic, and I’d really enjoy planning and coordinating industrial site visits that are both interesting and valuable for everyone in the society.

Chemical engineering is such a broad field, and I think tours are a great way for students to gain insight into different industries and see real-world engineering in action. I’d love to organise a variety of visits that are engaging, well-planned, and accessible to everyone.

I’m also excited about organising the ETH Zurich exchange trip. I’ll work hard to make it a fun, memorable, and rewarding experience, giving students the chance to meet new people, experience a different university culture, and make lasting memories alongside the academic opportunities.

Alongside my role as a Hall Senior, I’ve developed strong organisational and communication skills and learned how to manage events and responsibilities effectively. I’d bring that same energy and commitment to ChemEng Soc, ensuring tours and trips run smoothly and provide valuable experiences for members across all year groups.

More than anything, I want to create opportunities that people will genuinely look forward to and remember. Whether it’s visiting an exciting industrial site, connecting with professionals in the industry, or enjoying the ETH Zürich trip, I’ll put in the effort to make every experience worthwhile for everyone involved.

If you want a reliable, approachable, and enthusiastic Tours Officer, please vote for me!
