HOLD IT STOP RIGHT THERE

Have you ever had any uncertainty or worries about the course whatsoever? Well hello there I'm Jason and I'm going for Academics Officer! (so hopefully I can help with that)

Why do I want to go for this role?

Because, having taking part in all aspects of the various events we run each year - from volunteering & examining to setting them up (and being a certified nerd), I think that academic support is truly the most underrated strength of Music Soc! We have so many hidden academic weapons hiding in our ranks and I think it's wonderful that we get to squeeze them dry for their mystic knowledge and wisdom.

I'd like to continue the awesome work of the OfficHers before me, in working to provide: mocks, tutoring schemes, BSc advice, tutorials, and so much more - I understand there's so much behind the scenes that comes with this role, but it's a job that would be an honour to do, having made so much use of these opportunities the past few years myself!

I believe that the most important thing in this role is clear communication, with examiners & tutors (especially alumni) to arrange timely mocks and tutorials; with everyone to ensure they know when the various events are taking place; with the other Arts academic officers to coordinate joint events early on; and with you guys to know what you all actually want!!
