Naria Azizi Tourshizi

Hi! My name is Naria, and I am a first-year Physics student. As a member of Art Club and someone who designed posters and promotional materials for events throughout high school, I believe I have the creativity and experience to be next year's PhySoc Publicity Officer.

As someone who genuinely enjoys graphic design and creative projects, I want to make PhySoc's social media more active and engaging. I want to create content that not only advertises events but also helps build a stronger sense of community. I think it would be great to feature students' research and projects so that others can see what their coursemates are getting involved in. Not only would this celebrate their achievements, but it could also give first and second year students an idea of the opportunities available to them in later years and encourage them to pursue their own interests.

Moreover, I would aim to keep PhySoc's social media active and engaging through event countdowns, post-event photo dumps to encourage more students to get involved in society events.
