Hi! I’m Fei, a 3rd Chemistry student and a huge lover of film photography. Over the past few years, photography has become one of the most important creative outlets in my life, and Photosoc is where I met people who share the same passion for capturing moments and telling stories through images. I’m running for Photographic Services Manager because I want to help make Photosoc’s photography services more organised, accessible, and supportive for all members. I want to help create more opportunities for photographers in the society to gain real event-shooting experience, especially newer members who may not yet have had the chance. If elected, I would like to:
* Improve organisation and communication for event photography bookings
* Create a fairer and clearer system for assigning photographers to events
* Give more members opportunities to shoot events and build experience
* Promote both digital and film photography within the society
* Strengthen Photosoc’s presence across Imperial through collaborations and event coverage
As someone who genuinely loves photography, especially the slower and more thoughtful process of film photography. I want to help build a welcoming and creative environment where members can grow their skills and confidence. Thank you for reading, and I’d really appreciate your support!
