On Aeronautics it's safe to say we aren't known for our social scene, however I am firmly of the belief it is what you make it to be. With the amount of work we do it is so important to have downtime and form the great memories of your university years.

I plan to bring you the classic socials such as pub crawls, quizzes, bowling and other well loved events. Also, I will seek out collaboration with other societies and departments to create joint events and strengthen our ties outside of Aero. More importantly, I want to find out the events that YOU want and would participate in, to try and best represent your wants.

I will make it my goal to ensure a minimum of 2 socials a term, available to everyone to enjoy. I would also look to organising subsidised events and trips both relevant to the course and for an escape. I ultimately want to ensure we have consistent and affordable socials for everyone, to allow everyone to enjoy during their time on the course.
