Hi my name’s Rory, I’m a first year medic.

I love surfing, but I don’t get to do it much in London (until the wave opens in Edmonton in 2027 👀). Therefore surf socials must exist to maintain the stoke.

My proposals:

• Maintain pre-trip curries (the brick lane curry night before Newquay was a highlight of my year!)
• Regular surf skate socials/lessons (min 2x per term)
• Reach out to UCL surf (they do a surf society ball 🤩)
• Reach out to QSC (Queer surf society) for London meet up x IQ
• Joint freshers social with snowsports/ yoga/ skate (snow beach themed?)
