Amanda Aalto

Hi! My name is Amanda and I'm running for the First Aid Society's Unit Training Lead position. I've been a member of the society since the beginning of first term October 2025 and I have absolutely loved attending sessions. Unfortunately there were some lags with my SJA application and I am only now getting around to CFA training but my background as an EMT in the US has allowed me to be quite familiar with the sorts of things we teach our members at ICFAS. I have even gotten the oportunity to help teach at a few of our sessions! I truly love teaching and I believe letting people get hands on experience is the best way to keep a session engaging and it allows everyone to get as much out of it as possible. I am committed to helping everyone learn something new, whether you've never heard of CPR or whether you're already an ER (and beyond) for SJA. Thank you for your consideration!
