After 2 years of playing 1XI Cricket for Imperial, I've learned what this side is capable of and what's been letting us down recently. I'm running for 1's captain because I genuinely believe we are good enough to beat any team we face. It starts with fair selection, competition for places, and clear, defined roles for each player. I'll also make sure that the basics are handled properly - organised, structured training, good communication and a captain that is as accountable as any other player in the team.

Just as importantly, I want this to be a side that people are invested in and actually want to play for. Results definitely matter, but I want to create a team culture that is worth being part of. My aim is to be competitive in BUCS fixtures, win LUSL (as usual) and win varsity - I can't guarantee all of these will happen but I can promise commitment, fairness and my 100% effort. If you want a captain that takes the cricket seriously without taking the fun out of it, I'd be grateful for your vote.
