Keertana Avadhanula

Hi everyone,

I am Keertana, a third year medical student, and I'm super excited to be running for the role of Treasurer for ICDC 26-27! Having been in this club for the past two years, I've found a beautiful community of people who find joy in connecting with each other through dance. I hope to give back by undertaking the role of Treasurer on committee and nourishing the community further.

As Vice President of Publicity this year, I found great satisfaction in engaging with the branding and marketing of our club: my favourite moments being how we looked cult-like in our ICDC T-shirts and quarterzips at Birmingham. I also managed the finances surrounding our merch (bargaining to get high-quality merch at affordable prices), and I believe that this year of experience on committee has equipped me with a lot of the skills and knowledge required in running ICDC and will greatly assist me in my role as Treasurer.

As Treasurer, I promise to manage the finances of our club with great care and I hope to work with the rest of committee to bring heavily subsidised events and products to our members. I recognise the importance of this role as the backbone of our club and I'm excited to be working hard to ensure it runs smoothly.
